Huang Xiaowei Research and development in RE hydrometallurgy, RE separation & extraction and RE materials

Mrs. Huang Xiaowei，graduated from Central South University in 1983 and obtained Ph.D. Degree in Metallurgy Engineering from Northeastern University in 2008, is a Professorate Senior Engineer. She is awarded with Government Special Allowance of State Council, obtained the first “National Outstanding Engineer Award” and the title of “National Excellent Scientific and Technical Worker” in 2014 and was awarded with the title of “National Labor Model” in 2015. She currently holds the position of Director of RE Metallurgical Materials and Application Technology Research Institute of GRINM, Vice Director of National Engineering Research Center for Rare Earth Materials of GRINM (CREM) . Prof. Huang has been engaged in R&D on RE hydrometallurgy, RE separation & extraction and RE materials for many years when she undertook more than 10 projects including National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program), National Program on Key Basic Research Project (973 Program), National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key Technology Support Programs, achieved many innovative fruits with independent Intellectual Property in High efficiency, clean RE resource extraction, green separation and purification and RE composite materials, which were applied in several dozens of RE enterprises and significantly improved the development and utilization of domestic RE resource. Prof. Huang applied for more than 120 invention patents, of which 97 were granted(including 17 overseas patents); obtained 1 second prize for National Invention Award(rank 1st), 1 second prize and 1 third prize for National Prize for Progress in Science respectively(rank 2nd), 3 National Excellent Patent Awards, more than 10 provincial and ministerial awards; published more than 150 papers, 3 publications as co-author and delivered more than 20 invited presentations in domestic and overseas academic conferences. Prof. Huang is also the Director of Commission of RE Chemistry & Hydrometallurgy in China Rare Earth Society, the expert in “12th Five-Year Plan” National Science and Technology Focus (RE materials) Expert Group, member of National Advanced Material Industry Development Strategy Advisory Committee, standing editor of Journal of the Chinese Society of Rare Earths/Journal of Rare Earths and editor of Rare Earth.

Yang Hai Research, manufacturing and management for infrared optical and Semiconductor Materials

Mr. Yang Hai, Professorate Senior Engineer, graduated from Southeast University with Bachelor's Degree in Microelectronic Technology in 1990. He is currently secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of directors of GRINM. Prof. Yang has been engaged in research, manufacturing and management of infrared optical and semiconductor materials for a long time. He was responsible for and successfully developed CVD ZnS, CVD ZnSe, chalcogenide glass, sapphire and other infrared optical materials, including low dislocation germanium for space solar cell, and built the country’s first production line of II-VI series infrared materials. The production became the first in the country to replace the import. Professor Yang applied for and was approved more than 20 patents, 1 second prize for National Defense Science and Technology, 2 first prizes for ministerial prize, published more than 10 scientific papers.

Yu Dunbo Basic research, application technology research and development, and achievement transformation of new magnetic materials

Mr. Yu Dunbo, graduated from Shandong University in 1996 and obtained a Ph.D. in Materials from General Research Institute for Non-ferrous Metals (GRINM) in 2005,is a Professorate Senior Engineer, awarded State-Council Allowance for Experts. He is the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of GRINM. In 2012, he won the “Qiushi Outstanding Youth Award for Achievement Transformation” issued by China Association for Science and Technology(CAST) and Mao Yisheng Science and Technology Award-Beijing Youth Science and Technology Award; In 2014 he was selected National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Leader. For many years, Dr. Yu has been engaged in basic research, application technology research and development and fruit industrialization transformation of new magnetic materials, including sintered and bonded permanent magnetic materials, magnetostrictive materials, soft magnetic materials, Giant Magneto Resistance materials and Magnetoelectric composite materials, and so on. He was responsible for more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial projects including National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program), National Natural Science Foundation of China, civilian supporting project, etc.. Dr. Yu applied for 62 invention patents, of which 31 were granted, and obtained more than 5 national, provincial and ministerial awards including 1 second prize for National Invention Award. Dr. Yu is also the member of Permanent Magnetic Materials Professional Committee and Solid Science & Advanced Materials Professional Committee in China Rare Earth Society.

Lv Baoguo Functional precious materials research and production

Mr. Lv Baoguo, He is the general manager of GRIKIN. graduated from Tsinghua University with Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1993. Prof. Lv has been engaged in the research of functional precious materials and development. And he was responsible for the National 863 Program, National 02 Major Technology Special Project, The NDRC Industrialization Demonstration Project, government bond-financed projects of SASTIND. He was granted 5 patents, compiled one industry standard and published about 20 academic papers. At the same time, he was awarded 1 third prize of National Defense Science and Technology Award, 1 second prize of Science and Technology of Beijing. Professor Lv is also the member of CSM, C-MRS, China Society of Gold Industry, IPMI, PMACC of NFsoc and Shanghai Gold Exchange Council.

Xiong Xiaodong Metallurgical purifying of high purity metal and precious metal, photoelectron materials process and research

Mr. Xiong Xiaodong, He is the assistant general manager of GRINM. graduated from Northeastern University with Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry of Metallurgy. Prof. Xiong has been engaged in the metallurgical purifying of high purity metal and precious metal and the processing of microelectronics and photoelectron materials for a long time. He was responsible for about ten major national R&D projects, such as the State Important Sci-tech Special Projects, the National Sci-tech Support Plan and so on. He applied for 10 patents and complied 8 National Standards, was awarded 1 ministerial prize of technology progress and published 20 academic papers.

He Jinjiang R&D of high purity thin-film materials for electronic information industry

Mr. He Jinjiang, He is currently the deputy general manager of GRIKIN. graduated from Tsinghua University with Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering in 2006. Dr. He was awarded Beijing outstanding young talents, Beijing outstanding young engineer. He received from China Science Association Qiushi Outstanding Youth Award for transforming achievements in 2015. Dr. He has been engaged in the R&D of high purity thin-film materials which was applied to electronic information industry. He was the leader in about twenty national R&D projects. With an in-deep study of microstructure control, join and machining of high purity metal, alloy and compound, he used his technical achievements in semiconductor, flat displaying and solar field. The target products were awarded the innovative products and technology prize of CSIA for three years. Dr. He applied for about 30 patents and about 20 patents were authorized. He complied 7 national or industry standards, and was awarded 3 ministerial prizes (1 first prize, 1 second and 1 third prize), published 21 academic papers.

Feng Deshen Test, production and development of germanium crystal

Mr. Feng Deshen, graduated from Nanjing University with Bachelor's Degree in Semiconductor Physics in 1990. He is currently the deputy chief engineer of GRINM GUOJING. Prof. Feng has been engaged in the testing, production and development of germanium crystal for a long time. He was responsible for a number of development work in national defense scientific research project and successfully developed the first diameter 300 mm infrared germanium single crystal and the first 4 inches low dislocation germanium monocrystal in China. Prof. Feng was responsible for the revision of about two national standards of germanium materials, and participated in a number of the formulation and revision work about the germanium material national standards and industry standards. Prof. Feng was awarded 1 second prize for National Prize for Progress in Science, 1 second prize for Ministerial Prize for progress in Science, and 3 third prizes, published many papers.
